The one-bedroom, one-bath condo includes a king-sized bed that’s equal parts stunning and inviting, makes it an exquisite place to retire for the evening, with gentle ocean breezes flowing in and the nothing but the sound of the surf to lull you to sleep. The adjoining master bathroom, which is expertly designed and has a modern flair, includes a walk-in shower and comes fully stocked with linens, beach towels, and bath towels. The living room, which has super comfortable couch and flat-screen TV, is part of the open-concept design, so the kitchen is in full view and the chef is always part of the conversation. There’s also DVD player and your hosts have equipped the home with free Wi-Fi, so you can connect with loved ones back home. As an added convenience, purified water, in-home washer and dryer, and maid service 3 times a week has been included. The kitchen is, as you would expect, fully equipped with all appliances—including those little must-haves like a coffee maker, microwave, blender, and toaster. The cute little breakfast bar has seating for three, and the lovely dining area seats six. When you’re ready to take the party outside, just slide open those big glass doors and step out onto your private patio where you can enjoy the scenery and the sound of the tropics. Right in your own front yard (the patio opens up to the pool and beach areas) is your private beachfront and two freshwater pools, where comfortable lounge chairs, palm trees, palapas and cool tropical breezes beckon you to kick back and relax. You can jump in the ocean for a bit of snorkeling or take a leisurely stroll along the beach and perhaps play a little volleyball, Frisbee, or rent a jet ski. You can also arrange for a SCUBA diving or glass-bottom boat snorkeling adventure, so you can see the underwater world of this incredible island. Your guide will pick you up at the nearby pier, and whisk you off on an offshore adventure. If the pools and ocean aren’t enough water for one day, you’ll also have full use of the jetted hot tub. There’s a SCUBA and snorkeling rinse tank for gear plus two outdoor showers to wash away the salt and sand. And it’s all surrounded by a manicured landscape of lush green lawns and tropical foliage. When you’re ready to shake things up, head to the main street of downtown Cozumel, a 15-minute drive away. The waterfront is alive with activity day and night because it is one of the primary ports for cruise ships as well as the ferry terminal. Karen We stayed for 7 days August 2015. The condo was a great place to stay. It was very spacious and roomy. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. We were disappointed that Internet not working well. Took us a couple of days to get in touch with manager, but he gave us a solution. There is no phone, which was very inconvenient, especially with no internet. The TV only had a couple of English stations, so that was disappointing. No videos available. The patio was very comfortable, the view would have been great without the Hibiscus plant right in front. We loved access to pool out back door. We have stayed many times in Residencia Reef condos. There are two pools, which are very fun to swim in. We absolutely love location, water and pier. It is so quiet and peaceful. You need a car, if you plan on getting to town or south end. The maid was so sweet and did a great job. We were disappointed that on website it had stated washer and dryer. But that meant maid did laundry. She did without us asking. But we like to dry suits in between swims, so would have liked access. I also was told no blow dryer, but after finding place in suitcase, got there and one was already there. The bed was semi comfortable, we wished we had had a little extra covers at night sometimes. Overall, this was a great place! Would recommend to couples and families with small children. December 18, 2011 “Very nice” A FlipKey verified reviewer 11 times to Cozumel. The Wi-fi code was not included in the paper work, which meant we had to wait for the weekend to pass to obtain it. Would be a good idea to add it with the lock-box code.
The mad service is unreal. The first day my friend thought the underwear and shorts he left on the floor were taken. Shortly after the maid showed up with them washed, dried, and folded. Every day she washed our dishes, mopped, scrubbed... you could eat off the floor. I loved that there is no check-in.
